This upcoming fall, Juma DeJesus and Vale will be creating an immersive experience for the community to be transported into the world of the 12th House. “With our shared intention towards collective liberation through the healing arts, we wanted to create a work that is speaking directly to the current times. The 12th House experience will aid us in opening up our capacity to enter the realms of our collective shadow through ritualized live music/dance performance, 3D art installation, healing soundscapes, lighting design, experimental video art, and community participation in the forms of collective movement/vocalization. Our collective healing is possible and we hope that this work can transcend us through space and time to a place where our grief can be present, where the illusion of separateness melts away, and where our felt sense of togetherness welcomes us back home again.”
