We are currently accepting submissions to our video screening event.
Building 5 is a 5,000 square-foot exhibition and community space with natural light and very high ceilings. We are committed to providing opportunities for a wide range of artists at various stages within their careers. Our goal is to support new work and stimulate intellectual exchange. We offer exhibition and presentation opportunities and provide artists with exposure. We encourage experimentation and work that reflects the social and cultural contexts of our times.
Building Five is located in the Northwest Marine Art Works building, in Portland Oregon.
We are currently accepting submissions for our Ground Beneath Us Residency.
On the Wall: video nights at Building Five
Building 5 will be curating a series of art film screening events. Send us your Vimeo/Youtube links to be considered for our next screening night, Friday October 4, 2024. We are looking for works from Oregon, Washington and Idaho artists, under 10 minutes in length. We are accepting performance pieces, documentation, animation, art, narrative, and music videos, you must own the copyright. Please submit up to 3 videos. Deadline September 15th end of day.
